JS is used for scrolling stripes containing thumbnails of images presented at this site.With JS disabled some of them remains out of screen, but you can see them if you open relevant category or project.
JS is also used for interactive coloring and smoothing of thumbnails when you put mouse cursor over them. All thumbnails will be only in grayscale with JS turned off.
